In early 2022, Geneva’s first Ruby Hotel will be opening its doors only 200 metres from Lake Geneva’s shoreline. Right between Rue de Rhône and Rue du Marché, Geneva’s two largest shopping streets and in the city’s very heart.
The new hotel will comprise three interlinked buildings, one of them with an original historical façade. Monoplan has been appointed to draft plans for the repurposing of the former office complexes.
A lift takes guests from the Galerie Jean-Malbuisson shopping arcade straight up to the 7th floor to find reception and the public lobby lounge bar.
One of the secrets to the Ruby Hotels’ success and popularity is their interior design. Geneva’s Ruby Hotel (visualised above) will thus be presenting many similarities to Düsseldorf’s Ruby Coco and Munich’s Ruby Lilly (pictures below), but not without subtle differences to underline its very own character.
